Ronn Senn August 22, 1939 – February 28, 2025

Ronn, aged 85, passed away peacefully with his family by his side at St. Vincent Palliative Care Unit on February 28, 2025. He is predeceased by his mother, Violet, and his sister, Shirley (husband Bill). He is survived by his common-law spouse, Ann, who remained the love of his life for 28 years. His children and grandchildren were his pride and joy. He was a wonderful and devoted father to his daughters, Lorelei (husband Ian), Ronna, and his son Todd. He was also a fun-loving and cherished grandfather to Penny and Owen.

Ronn dedicated 40 years of his career to the National Research Council (NRC) as an Electronic Technologist, retiring in 2001. He was passionate about his work and made significant contributions to his field.

An avid sports enthusiast, Ronn particularly enjoyed golf and curling with his friends. He was a devoted fan of the Ottawa 67s, holding season tickets for the same seats for over 40 years, and a diehard supporter of the Hamilton Tiger Cats football team. His humorous personality and love for conversation made him a beloved figure among his friends and family. Ronn cherished the moments spent with his loved ones and always brought joy to those around him.

Born and raised in the small town of Caledonia, just outside Hamilton, Ontario, Ronn carried the values of his upbringing throughout his life. He will be deeply missed by his loving family and all who knew him.

As per his wishes, there will be no funeral, but a celebration of life will be planned at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent in memory of Ronn, to the Ottawa Humane Society.
