Indigenous Law Students' Association Award
Support Indigenous law students as they advance in their legal education. The Indigenous Law Students’ Association Award provides annual support for First Nations, Inuit and Métis students entering their second or third year of the JD program at the Allard School of Law. Created through the generosity and leadership of the Indigenous Law Students’ Association, this award reflects a strong commitment to nurturing community, honouring Indigenous legal traditions and strengthening pathways for Indigenous students in the legal profession.
Now, the Indigenous Law Students’ Association is actively fundraising to grow this to grow this award into an endowment to ensure sustained support for future students.
We are approaching our goal, and with your Giving Day gift, you will help ensure more students can access essential financial support as they continue their studies, take on leadership roles and contribute to Allard Law and the broader legal community. Final decisions about the award will be made by UBC in consultation with the Indigenous Law Students’ Association.
Make your Giving Day gift to the Indigenous Law Students’ Association Award today to support Indigenous students who are shaping the future of the legal profession.
