Malcolm Knapp Research Forest Renewal Project
Support the revitalization of UBC’s Malcolm Knapp Research Forest and help build a new Forestry Learning Centre that will expand opportunities for research, teaching and community engagement. The planned 12,000 square-foot facility will feature state-of-the-art mass timber design, a public Sustainable Forest Exhibit and dedicated space for forest science innovation.
Currently, there are matching funds that will be released when donor support is received. Every gift counts toward unlocking this critical funding and bringing the new Centre to life. With enough support, construction could begin as early as spring 2027.
Your gift will ensure that the Research Forest remains a global leader in forest science and education, advancing solutions for climate change, sustainable resource management and ecological resilience.
Make your Giving Day gift to the Malcolm Knapp Research Forest Renewal Project today to help unlock matching funds and build a world-leading centre for forest innovation and education.
