Support UBC student-athletes as they train, race and represent the university across North America through the Thunderbirds Cycling Sport Club. This student-led, self-sustaining team competes in the USA Cycling Northwest Collegiate Cycling Conference and local Vancouver race series, building skills, leadership and community. 

Originally formed in the 1990s and revived by students in 2014, the club has grown into one of the region’s leading development programs, nurturing riders who go on to compete at elite and professional levels. In 2025, the team captured the mixed-team title at the Whistler Gran Fondo, highlighting a year of major success. 

Your gift helps cover travel, equipment and competition costs so student-athletes can continue representing UBC while strengthening the cycling community on and off campus.
