We’re proud to carry one of the strongest football traditions in the country. This past season, we returned to the Canada West playoffs, opened the year with an upset over the eighth-ranked Manitoba Bisons, and celebrated 15 Academic All-Canadians. Our reputation as a developmental program continues to grow, with 15 Thunderbirds selected in the CFL Draft over the past three years. That success extends to the highest level, with alumni Giovanni Manu and Theo Benedet both seeing NFL regular-season action. With four Vanier Cup titles and 17 conference championships, we’re building on one of Canada’s strongest university football programs.
