The UBC Emeritus College fosters healthy aging and lifelong learning, supporting emeriti through the transition to retirement and ongoing engagement with the university through guest speaker series, interdisciplinary interest groups, workshops and support for scholarly activities.   

Excellence does not end with retirement. Today, 1919 members belong to this vibrant community who have played, and continue to play, a pivotal role in shaping UBC. This year, the Emeritus College seeks to raise $75,000 to support emeriti in retirement and strengthen the university by sharing decades of knowledge and experience.
