Only gifts made via the givingday.ubc.ca website on April 3, 2025, are eligible for challenges. All times listed are Pacific Daylight Savings Time.  

One gift per donor is counted for each individual challenge. We reserve the right to withdraw or reallocate challenge funds to ensure alignment with this policy.

Double your passion, double the reward! Ten UBC faculty and staff who donate to two or more causes on April 8 will be randomly selected for an additional $250 to be contributed toward one of their causes.

The Early Momentum Challenge

Get the day moving! Make your gift early and really make it count. The three causes supported by the most previous donors who give through select channels will unlock an additional $2,000 each.* 

Gifts will be tallied on April 8, and the top three causes will be posted on the website the next day and announced in an email after Giving Day. 

* This challenge is a special opportunity for select previous Giving Day donors. Check your UBC communications to see if your gift counts.
