Support equitable access to psychology education and research training. The Psychology Inclusive Excellence (PIE) Student Fund helps students from disadvantaged and underrepresented backgrounds overcome barriers to learning by providing financial support, research preparation and access to hands-on academic experiences. 

Since launching in 2022, the PIE Fund has grown steadily. Last Giving Day, donors contributed almost $40,000, helping attract four world-class graduate students, funding five paid undergraduate research training positions and covering PSYC 240 tuition for ten students beginning their first lab experience. 

Your gift will expand research training opportunities for students like Peter King, a psychology honours student who discovered his passion for research through the PIE Fund’s Early Research Award. Through the PIE Fund, Peter is now conducting inclusive research that brings underrepresented perspectives into psychological science.
