Support a new award that expands opportunities for students working at the intersection of music, technology and new media. This interdisciplinary award is open to students across Music, Arts, Science and Engineering who are exploring digital creativity, media arts and innovative forms of composition and performance. 

Your gift will help students access the tools, training and cross-disciplinary collaboration needed to explore bold ideas in music technology. This support empowers students to take creative risks, develop hands-on technical skills and shape the future of media arts at UBC. 

Dr. Bob Pritchard and Dr. Keith Hamel wish to raise $50,000 to establish an endowment that encourages students across Music, Arts, Science and Engineering to explore bold ideas, take creative risks and shape the future of music and performance at UBC. Final decisions on the fund purpose will be made by UBC in consultation with Dr. Pritchard and Dr. Hamel.
